What to Bring

To help make your first appointment efficient, please bring the following items with you:

• Your surgical referral slip and any recent X-rays from your dentist (if applicable).

• A complete list of all medications you are currently taking (prescription and over-the-counter).

• Your dental and medical insurance cards or information.

• A valid government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license).

• Your preferred form of payment for any co-pays or fees due at the visit.

  For Minors

  Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for their consultation and any subsequent treatment appointments.

What to Expect

During your first appointment, you will meet personally with Dr. Walsh or Dr. Vila. They will carefully review your medical and dental history, perform a thorough oral examination pertinent to your concerns, and discuss their findings with you. Together, you will explore potential treatment solutions and appropriate anesthesia options tailored to your health goals and comfort level.

While many procedures require a separate surgical appointment, WISE Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Specialists is pleased to offer same-day treatment for certain procedures like extractions or straightforward implant placements when clinically appropriate and scheduling permits. If a dedicated surgical visit is needed, our team provides detailed pre-operative instructions and all relevant information well in advance.

3D Imaging

We utilize state-of-the-art Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) for detailed 3D views of your anatomy, along with precise intraoral scanners that eliminate the need for traditional uncomfortable impression molds. Please remember this is an estimate; you are required to pay your estimated portion at the time of service and remain responsible for any final balance after insurance processing.
